Cyber Security Awareness Month

All October, the Government of Canada is providing info to help you stay safe online.

We all have a role to play when it comes to cyber security. That’s why the Government of Canada is proud to work with its private sector partners, provinces and territories, and international allies to improve our understanding of cyber threats and help stop cyber attacks.

Public awareness is an important part of keeping individual Canadians – like you – safe online. At the centre of the Government’s effort is Get Cyber Safe, Canada’s national cyber security public awareness campaign and key component of Canada’s Cyber Security Strategy. Take a look around this website (GetCyberSafe.ca) for valuable information and tips on how to carryout online activities safely and securely.

During the month of October, we encourage you to take action by learning some simple steps to protect your family, your business and yourself while online.
